Important Information - South African Entry Formalities

The International Bar Association has been advised that the entry formalities to South Africa have recently been relaxed for some countries. It is recommended that each delegate contact their local South African diplomatic or consular representative abroad with regard to their individual visa requirements. Any application should be made at least six weeks prior to the Conference. If there is no South African representation in your country, contact Congress International for further information. All enquiries must be via email at ci@dbn.lia.net.

Passports must be valid for six months after the intended date of return from South Africa and delegates must have a return ticket.

All Conference delegates, with the exception of UK and Irish nationals, are required to apply for a Business visa.
