The Conference has been accredited for 25 hours of CPD/CLE by the Law Society of England and Wales and the State Bars of Florida, California, New York and Washington DC. Accreditation from the following is pending: Colorado, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nevada and Texas. For delegates from other countries where CPD/CLE is mandatory, the IBA will be pleased to provide a Certificate of Attendance for this Conference. Subject to your Bar Association/Law Society, the Certificate may be used to obtain the equivalent accreditation in your jurisdiction. Certificates will be issued to all delegates upon registration and can be authenticated by staff at the Registration Desk.

Since 1988, the IBA's Section on Business Law has provided a fund from which scholarships may be awarded to young lawyers, normally from the region in which the Conference, but are unable to do so owing to financial constraints.
This year the IBA will be hosting its biennial Conference in San Francisco, USA and the Section is inviting interested persons from the following countries to apply for a scholarship, which will cover accommodation expenses and provide a contribution towards registration and travel costs for the Conference.

The scholarship will also include two years' free membership of the IBA and SBL, a waiver of IBA and SBL Conference registration fees for one year and free membership of the Scholarship Alumni Group.
